We stand by our customers and our people, as well as the communities we work in and the places we call home.
Although the largest company in our sector, we’re small in the context of the global oil and gas industry. We use this to our advantage, taking industry standards as a starting point to build upon – not as a goal in their own right.
For example, we employ our own in-house design team. We also decided to build a state-of-the-art dedicated container refurbishment and repair facility in Aberdeen. And you’ll find this same committed approach in all our locations.
Our quality assurance systems underpin all of this, with a management framework accredited to ISO 9001:2008, as well as high quality accreditation from the likes of DNV, first point assessment (FPAL) and Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (IRQA).
At Swire Oilfield Services, legislative compliance is simply a starting point.
Our culture of care includes company-wide safety observation and intervention practices. The aim is to empower every employee to challenge working practices and the work environment, and to work towards zero incidents.
Swire Oilfield Services is deeply committed to reduce any negative impact on the environment. We start with our ISO 14001 accredited Environmental Management System and regularly review our operations to ensure continuous improvement.
For example, we choose container coating systems to balance VOC emissions with coating durability in a harsh operating environment. Our plural-component paint spray equipment reduces waste and the use of 200-litre reusable lined drums minimises packing waste.
This same approach is adopted in every area of our business, not just in the North Sea market, but in every global market where we work.
All our operational and support activity is built on ISO 9001:2008.
We take every opportunity to review and improve processes and systems, working to optimise the quality and efficiency of our service and product delivery, at every operating location.
