In all our operations, it is the policy of the Swire Group to:
- Meet, as a minimum, all environmental legal and regulatory requirements
- Minimise polluting substances discharged to the environment
- Use, wherever practical, environmentally acceptable materials, equipment and methods in place of those identified as being harmful
- Minimise impact on locality by operating only within limits imposed by the terms of planning consents
- Constantly monitor environmental and health and safety performance to ensure that standards are maintained and improved where circumstances permit.
